MSC Health Expedition No. 3 in Airlangga, Surabaya


Following are some photos taken during MSC Health Expedition No. 3 in Surabaya, Indonesia. The program is a 6 days program involving 28 students and 2 lecturers. The accompanying lecturers are our new Head of Department, Puan Sairah Bt Abdul Karim and Puan Norlita from BBM.

1st Day

2nd Day

3rd Day

4th Day
A) CADAVER DISSECTION SESSION
B) SHOPPING AT TANGGULANGIN, SIDOARJO
A) Cadaver Dissection in Anatomy Lab.

On the 3rd day, we had a chance to do a session of cadaver dissection. Unfortunately we are prohibited to take photos during the session but i managed to take a snap for your viewing pleasure.hehe
Visit to Masjid Agung, Surabaya.

Masjid Agung is located in Surabaya. It is claimed to be the largerst mosque in East Java.





 
B) Shopping at Tanggulangin, Sidoarjo.
Tanggulangin is known as the center of bag, case, shoe, and embroidery handicraft. Laid at + 2 km southward of Sidoarjo city. Most of the Tanggulangin people make those handicraft and sell it to the market till to the whole country. Usually, the consument buy the products by retail and also grocery.

5th Day
A) MSC Mini Clinic At Gubeng, Surabaya
B) Cultural Night


On the 5th day, we had a chance to do a mini clinic. The event took place in Kecamatan Gubeng, located near the university.

The mini clinic involved several health station including registration, history taking, blood pressure, body mass index, physical examination and consultation.

Cultural Night
At the last night in Surabaya, together with UNAIR students, a cultural night had been held at the Pharmacy Faculty UNAIR. The activities including zapin, ngajat and dikir barat performance from BMS students.
The cultural night was attended by almost 50 Malaysian students from different faculty in UNAIR. Not also forgotten are the Dosen and Indonesian students.

6th, the last day



Departure from Bandara Juanda Surabaya to LCCT Sepang




Alhamdulillah the trip had ended succesfully. I would like to say thank you very much to all the AJKs, participants, and Committee from Indonesia that had gave their full support and cooperation before, during and after the program. Thank You!

Next MSC trip to abroad will be on next long semester break.
